Clinical Intern

Let’s flip the script! Whether you arrive here as an individual, a couple, or a family, you deserve an environment that is devoted to becoming your best self, and that is my focus for you. Together, we create this environment to determine what we talk about and how you write your story. As a therapist, I bring curiosity, empathy, playfulness, and humor to the environment to help you thrive as the main character.

I am an LGBTQ+ affirmative provider who works from a systemic and feminist lens. With this, I am a product of my training in structural, narrative, solution-focused, and experiential therapies. My clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, affairs, adolescents, relational issues, sexual and gender identity, and grief.

Currently, I am in the MA Marriage and Family program at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. I received a BA from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities in Theatre Arts. After graduation, I worked as a Director and Assistant Director for multiple theatre companies around the Twin Cities, specializing in theatre for young audiences. As I worked in theatre, I started to understand it was not acting or storytelling that I loved most; it was talking to people about what it means to be a person that I found most fulfilling. I believe life is centered around relationships; and this is exactly where the work of a therapist is rooted. Like when directing, in therapy I look at the larger context and ask how relationships and larger systems influence the story.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy reading YA novels, watching reality tv, and walking my two french bulldogs with my partner.
